China Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer (Shenzhen Stationed)

 

Job Description

• Responsible for all manufacturing engineering matters relating to new product launches including process development, prototype builds, reducing cost, identifying required facility improvements, specification of tooling and equipment, development of required product and transitioning products from development to production.

• Provides direct support to manufacturing for the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of parts, assemblies, components, sub-assemblies, tooling and final products. This position is expected to be the focal point of all production launch activities, from development of the design through stable production.

• Creating production tooling.

• Participation in product development.

• Maintenance of engineering documentation.

• Provides technical assistance and liaison to Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance Manager and other organizations and assists in implementing new techniques and procedures.

• Evaluation of new and improved processes.

• Work with production personnel to gather input for process improvements on the production floor.

• Analyzes and recommends product design changes for ease of manufacturing, cost reduction and quality improvements.

• Assists production with departmental designs, to optimize layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.

• Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products.

• Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special services.

• Provides engineering information by answering questions and reque Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

 

Job Requirements

• Ideal candidates posses a strong Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial engineering experience.

• Familiarity with basic principles of ISO9000 documentation principles are desired.

• Quality Focused.

• Team and results orientated.
